In 1997, the Windmill Inn was
extended to incorporate the open plan Brascote restaurant, seating 84
people. It has a relaxed and informal atmosphere and at night, the candlelit
tables only add to enrich the ambience.
The Brascote restaurant offers some very tasty dishes, classic favourites
and specialises in Mediterranean recipes using fresh fish, to be found on
the seasonally updated specials board. It is widely known throughout the
area for its excellent, value for money and imaginative food and good
selections of wine.
The Chefs have quickly gained an enviable reputation and run the kitchen
with care and efficiency, only using the freshest of ingredients. The
Windmill is renowned for its fish specialities and its legendary baguettes.
On Sundays, meals (including the traditional) are offered, but it is
recommended that you telephone beforehand to make a reservation due to the
restaurant’s popularity, especially for those special days like Mothers day,
Fathers day and Christmas.
