The ivy clad Windmill Inn was recently
refurbished and is now a warm, friendly pub based in the modern age,
although it has maintained its rustic charm and much of its original
character and features, even down to the cobbled stones found in one of its
passageways and exposed beams.
With its open log fire in the deep mid-winter, the Windmill Inn presents a
homely, cosy and traditional feel, with a relaxing atmosphere.
Being a Freehouse since 1992, the Windmill Inn offers a superb range of
hand-pulled real ales, lagers and a worldwide array of modern wines.
Currently there is a choice of 4 lagers, and real ales and guest beers
including beers from the Battlefield Brewery, Tunnel & other breweries
recognised by the CAMRA LocAle scheme for producing beers brewed within 20
miles of the Windmill.
Apart from the old world charm that can be found at the Windmill Inn, it
also offers a family beer garden for those tranquil summer evenings, a big
screen TV for those not to be missed sporting events and a large car park
with CCTV surveillance.
