County Council, this reclaimed colliery site is situated between Thornton
and Bagworth, and covers 75 hectares. A number of walks amble through this
site affording wonderful views of both Bagworth and Thornton. The Leicestershire Round ambles its way from Bagworth to Thornton through this lovely Country Park.
